Deviled eggs are synonymous with game day and holidays in my family. They are easy, fast, and a crowd favorite. Not only that but they are decently healthy for an appetizer.
These….these packaged eggs are one of the greatest inventions. I get these at my local Costco. Eggs that have been hardboiled and peeled for you. No having to deal with stubborn shells or eggs that are covered in dents from a difficult peeling.
I can’t tell you how many times I have tried different methods to hard boiling eggs, even in an oven, and I am never able to get them to peel perfectly. Some methods have gotten close, but I will in no doubt struggle to get all the shell off without giving them a few craters. These packaged eggs are perfect and save you a ton of time. Totally worth it.
One of my favorite things about making deviled eggs is how easy and fast they are. If you have the pre-boiled eggs, you can throw this together in just a few minutes. This recipe is for a standard, typical flavor but can easily be modified with different flavors which you will see in future posts. Do you have any recommendations as to what you want to see first? Mediterranean? Latin? Italian? Your comments will decide the order they are posted 🙂
This is for twelve halves, or six whole eggs, but I double this when I am serving them to a larger group. They are always one of the first things to run out and a staple during game day.
