Eggnog is a classic drink and flavor around the holidays. Christmas seems to be making an appearance earlier and earlier, which I am not a fan of! I am a fall season lover, so Christmas is not allowed in our house until the day after Thanksgiving, when everything changes from pumpkin spice and fall leaves to eggnog, glitter, and peppermint. I do love Christmas, but I need to get my fall season in! Plus I think I appreciate Christmas more when it is a month long instead of three. These Eggnog Cinnamon Rolls are a fun way to celebrate the winter holiday season! If you are craving a little taste of Christmas at a time of year where there is no eggnog, you can substitute milk for the eggnog and add a little extra nutmeg and cinnamon.
I am not really a breakfast person. Give me leftovers or dinner food in the morning and I am good to go. But homemade cinnamon rolls are something that I will absolutely eat any morning. We have a tradition in our house that I make at least one version of cinnamon rolls for every holiday. These Eggnog Cinnamon Rolls are pretty much required on Christmas as one of those flavor options. Homemade cinnamon rolls do take some time to make, but they are completely worth it. The trick with these is making them the day or night before. This way, you do not have to wake up in the middle of the night to get these going.
I love making different flavors of cinnamon and sweet rolls, so I have a lot for you to choose from! Find all of our cinnamon and sweet rolls here!
