Fresh popcorn is incredibly fast and easy to make. And my favorite part about it is that you can make up so many unique flavor combinations! This Homemade Parmesan Garlic Popcorn uses canned, ground Parmesan cheese and garlic powder for an Italian twist full of flavor. Find more popcorn recipes here!
There are a lot of different homemade popcorn options out there, like microwaveable bowls and machines. This machine is perfect for a desk, but I typically prefer to make popcorn on the stove with a large stockpot. Get popcorn kernels here!
To make Homemade Parmesan Garlic Popcorn, first pop the popcorn. I like to do this on the stove by adding the kernels and some oil in a large stock pot. Heat over medium heat and let the popping begin! It only takes around 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile make the seasoning by combining the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, parsley, black pepper, and salt. Adjust the flavor to taste. When the popcorn is ready, drizzle the popcorn with a little oil so that the seasoning sticks, stir to coat, add the Parmesan mixture, and stir again.
This Homemade Parmesan Garlic Popcorn is gluten free and vegetarian. I like to mix up large batches of the seasoning so I always have some on hand, making it even faster and easier!
