I am a sauce lover and this easy honey mustard sauce is a great condiment to have on hand! It is great with chicken, pork, beef, vegetables, or as a condiment for pretzels, rolls, and more.
It is also very easy to modify this mustard sauce to your preference of how sweet or how spicy it is. This ratio in the recipe has a little mild mustard kick to it, so to make it sweeter simply add more honey until you are happy. The perfect ratio is also dependent upon what you are using it for, and how much you are using in a bite. I use regular yellow mustard in this sauce but you could use anything you prefer or have on hand.
I have found that this Easy Homemade Honey Mustard Sauce is a very versatile condiment and sauce. I love to dunk chicken and fries in it, or spread it on some bread. It also works as a great base for making a vinaigrette. If you want to make a creamy version of the sauce, check out our Creamy Honey Mustard Sauce here!
And since this mustard sauce is so fast and easy to make, it is a great things to stock up on in your refrigerator. Make a larger batch and keep it in a jar, especially during grilling season. I found that the addition of the garlic powder is what made the sauce special.

- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
