Why You Will Love This Recipe
This Stormy Hallows Eve Rum Halloween Cocktail is incredibly simple to make and packed full of flavor with a little sparkle. Perfect for Halloween!
One of my FAVORITE things to do with cocktails these days is use luster dust to make them shimmer and sparkle!
I love my sparkles-and-glitter-everything and using luster dust makes a drink extra special. The viscosity of the liquor itself gives a great shimmering, swirl effect when you stir and mix the drink. Get red luster dust here!
This cocktail recipe was inspired by the classic rum and coke cocktail.
In keeping with the Halloween theme, your guests will be surprised by the sweet and slightly spicy flavor of the Stormy Hallows Eve Rum Halloween Cocktail from the cherry and ginger. This cocktail is perfect for our horror movie parties to keep with the spooky theme.
I love to have it on hand at all times for our high-energy occasions and entertaining, plus it is always a popular option!
Ingredients
Here is what you need to make this cocktail:
- Rum (white/clear is best)
- Ginger Puree
- Cherry Liqueur
- Red Luster Dust or Edible Glitter
- Cola Soda
Red Luster Dust – using an edible glittery dust is what makes this drink shine! Either an edible glitter or a sparkle dust works, and you can also swap it out for other colors!

Hey Kim, this is a drink I would love to be sipping right now! The combination of ingredients sound perfect and it ticks the Halloween theme perfectly. I admit that I can’t watch scary movies much these days, I have less ability to handle suspense than when I was younger. But I did used to like a good Scream type movie in my day! Cheers
