Why You Will Love This Recipe

I was inspired to make this healthy cole slaw recipe without mayo for my Baja Fish Tacos. I needed something light, crisp, and fresh with a ton of flavor. It is similar to my Creamy Avocado Coleslaw, also made without mayonnaise, but this version has nothing creamy or saucy about it.

While this slaw is perfect for fish tacos, it is also a great BBQ side dish. The simple ingredients make it vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free which is perfect for feeding a crowd.

Modifications and Substitutions

You can also just finely shred cabbage by hand if preferred.

Add a little heat by adding some ground cayenne pepper to the mix, or finely dicing a jalapeno pepper and combining with the cabbage.
